We’ve got an exciting new programme of children’s beginner guitar groups starting at the Gloucester Academy of Music in November.   Tuition will be in small groups of 3 -5 students, and it will be based around a staged teaching plan.  At each stage students will receive the success of achieving a new level.

The groups will run on Saturday afternoons, with the first groups beginning on Saturday November 6th.  New groups will then begin every half term.

The price for 10 lessons is just 75 pounds, making it an affordable way to start your child learning an instrument.

      Hi Steph,

Normally from about 6 or 7 depending on the child’s size and attention span! I have taught younger if they’re really keen – it’s a balance between maintaining their enthusiasm and putting them off because it’s too hard for their little fingers! I could come round and see how Sam gets on if you’re interested?
